Applicant Resources
The 2024 Ultimate National Fellowship Guide ($99) This guide includes specific, detailed, step-by-step advice taken from my decades worth of experience helping dozens of students win the Rhodes Scholarship, Fulbright, Schwarzman, Mitchell, Marshall, Gates Cambridge, Luce, and others. I share all the pitfalls that students I've helped have faced, and I dive in to make sure you are as prepared as possible as you invest a lot of time to improve your overall candidacy. I give insider information that Fellowship offices do not know as thoroughly.

All Resources: Winning Personal Statements (Schwarzman, Fulbright, Luce, Mitchell, etc.), Resume Templates, Application Checklist, Recommender/Recommendation Guide (coming soon), Interview Preparation Materials (100+ Real and Possible Questions List).
Personal Statement & Essay Review, and More (~48-hour turnaround) | Your essay is the most important element of your application package. I have helped hundreds of applicants improve their essays by analyzing content line-by-line, reviewing themes, critiquing unoriginal ideas, improving structure, etc. You will likely receive the most thorough feedback you have ever received on any personal statement here. You'll submit your materials to me via DocReview.app/YJ, and I'll send you a thorough 10+ minute voice memo via email (these can range from 10 minutes to 40 minutes depending on the length of your content).
One-on-One Consulting ($100 at 5pm ET, Almost Daily) | General availability is one or two meetings per day. National Fellowship 'season' starts around early summer. This summer gives you enough time to finalize your candidacy. You need to spend this time getting organized, selecting the right programs, and developing the right strategy. I'll spend an hour total (30 minutes on content review before hand and 30+ minutes on call with you) to tell you what you might be missing. Bring specific questions to maximize your time with me.
Comprehensive Resume Guide | This has about 10 pages of written content + visual guides that incorporates about a decade's worth of experience. The example used is my younger brother's Schwarzman Scholars resume (which applies to all other national fellowships) | Your résumé is the most important document you will submit for national fellowships. This guide takes my decades worth of experiences helping students and recent graduates win national fellowships like the Rhodes, Mitchell, Marshall, Schwarzman, Gates Cambridge, and Fulbright Scholarships, etc. The Guide breaks down clearly how you can create a resume that represents you effectively. Unlike other online guides, this dives deeply into explaining the "why" behind building the best possible resume.
100+ Practice Interview Questions + Bonus Preparation Guide | The final step before you win a national fellowship is the interview. I have compiled a list of more than 100 questions from real past interviews and added some possible questions for this year's interview rounds.
Practice Interview & Advice (1-on-1) | Interviewing effectively is the single most important factor in winning a national fellowship after the application deadlines. You have one chance to perform well, and practicing is the only way to get ready. I'll mock interview you with my list of real questions (from past fellowship interview rounds), and you can answer them as you might during a real fellowship interview and/or we can discuss how to approach each type of question so you'll know what to expect. I'll share direct, honest feedback for how you can improve your interviewing at the end of our session.
Make a Personal Website for Fellowship Applications (Use code NF20 for 20% off your first year) | Personal websites can help you show projects, writing, and other media to complement your core application materials. More applicants each year are launching sites, which can help most during the semi-finalist/finalist stages (to determine who to interview).
National Fellowships YouTube Channel ("How to Win a National Fellowship," "How to Get Your Dream Job," "How to Win a Fulbright," "Interview Preparation Tips," "Amazing Benefits of Winning a National Fellowship").
Email List: Advice Applicants | Whenever I have important information for you, I will organize it, and email you directly about it. This is probably the most important action you can take if you're planning to apply for these programs (especially if you don't need immediate help: <1 min to fill out form).
